With binding promises on health, consumption, employees, the environment and society, we are committed to the generation of tomorrow. We do this primarily on an economic, ecological and social level. For example, we only sell products that meet all legal requirements 100% and come from sources that comply with current international norms regarding compliance with social standards in production facilities.
Our contribution to sustainable ecology
In the fall of 2012, we had one of the largest photovoltaic systems in the city of St. Gallen installed on our company building in St. Gallen-Winkeln. This was an ecological milestone in our 140-year history.
The energy policy debate of recent years, the Swiss government’s decision to phase out nuclear energy and the firm conviction that alternatives will be necessary in the future have prompted us to take this forward-looking step. We currently produce around 50,000 kWh of sustainable electricity per year.
